Maison Solenne rests above Gordes on a quiet limestone terrace where the Luberon opens in long, pale layers. Conceived as a contemporary Provençal estate, it gathers a principal house, a guest pavilion and a shaded summer kitchen around a sequence of planted courts rather than a single formal façade.

The rooms are calibrated to the day. East light reaches the breakfast room through slender bronze screens; the main salon opens west toward a 22-metre pool and distant hill villages. Hand-finished lime plaster, locally quarried stone and pale oak create a restrained interior that feels cool at noon and warm after sunset.

Six bedroom suites are distributed across two wings so family life and guest stays can coexist without ceremony. The garden moves from clipped olive terraces near the house to a looser landscape of lavender, cypress and meadow grasses, with every path designed to frame a different horizon.
